Throw on your straw hat and overalls and come welcome the state champions! http://statechampion.castlemorbius.com/ + 28 GOD Aoife O'Donovan, vocals, guitar and piano Acclaimed vocalist Aoife O'Donovan has been turning heads all through the music scene for the past 6 years. Called "Americana's newest darling" by USA today, Aoife is a founding member of newgrass sensations "Crooked Still," with whom she tours the world for most of the year. She is also a member of the folk-noir trio, "Sometymes Why." 2007 has seen Aoife on stages from the Shetland Islands to Yosemite National Park, with stops across Europe, Canada, and the USA in between. Though just beginning to play shows featuring her own material, her quirky original songs have garnered praise worldwide. Originally from Newton, Massachusetts, Aoife continues to make her home in the musical hotbed of Boston. Marc Riordan is a drummer/pianist/ex-rapper who lives in Chicago. He plays in the bands Medium Sized Rabbit, Frigates, Never Enough Hope, Ben Brown and the Makeout Machine, Branch/Riordan Duo, Keefe Jackson Quartet. Ben MacDonald is a guitarist and singer AND a farmer. He has toured extensively with Heather and the Barbarians and Ben Brown and the Makeout Machine.
