About the Ironwood Duo:

Internationally recognized performers and composers, Michael Lich and Robert Matheson both have strong backgrounds in classical and jazz music, while each brings with him musical tastes of several other styles. Their performances range from Bach harpsichord preludes to the bebop sounds of Thelonious Monk, to the funk and bluegrass influenced grooves found in their ground breaking original compositions.
