The Paris Harp Duo Presents an All-French Program The Paris Harp Duo will present a special program of French Music for harp duet and solo harp on Wednesday, January 2nd, 7pm at the Heaven Gallery, 1550 N. Milwaukee, slightly southeast of the Milwaukee/North/Damen intersection in Wicker Park. The members of the Paris Harp Duo are Elizabeth Jaxon and Marta Power, both of whom are studying and making music careers in Paris, France. The duo strives to bring the richness of two harps to music otherwise beyond the possibilities of a single instrument. With the variety of textures and the increased technical capabilities which two harps allow, they also seek to enrich their instrument's repertoire through transcriptions as well as new compositions.
